JULY 5 _ WAS THE FAIR PLAY TRIUMPHANT…?? _ by Saria Benazir?

5th July _ The sinister day in the history of Pakistan _ When the Government of the founder Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Quaid e Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was eliminated by the then tyrant Zia ul Haq, and thereby, Pakistan , under the longest era of Martial Law ever since its underpinning. Moments were too awful _ Murky nights _ Gosh! The end of a democratic Government, followed by the judicial murder of ZA Bhutto and those three months of elections _ That day never arrived!
July 5 _ The black day for dismantling the Constitution of Pakistan….! That was the nerve of Pakistan Peoples Party & only Pakistan Peoples Party, which faced all these obstacles and murders with patience and sagacity, for we deem, neither in prisons, nor in bullets, but DEMOCRACY is our vengeance and that is a fact that the forces of democracy & justice triumph. Long Live Bhutto-ism.

In a shadowy night,
Caught in deep slumber,
I hear stratagems against democracy,
They too, under the name of Fair Play,
I hear the voices of droves,
Surrounding the house,
Each of them,
Stand-in against the decrees of God,
Against the aspirations of the people,
To bring the peoples supremacy to conclusion,
Gosh! Those trespassers,
Never sentient of their place,
Their category,
For whom they were,
Treacherous, hypocrites and the sickly,
Working in antagonism to the interests,
Concerns of the people,
Stabbing to damage the country’s veracity,
For in the precedent too,
They lost half of the territory…..

Shouting the jingles of their own.
Narai Haq, Zia ul Haq,
The killers of democracy advanced,
To blemish the law and order,
To victimize women,
To leave the nation illiterate,
In dearth and in starvation,
Shelter less and cloth less,
With no means of earning,
Leaving the laborers bleak,
A farmer, feeble,
A common,. Tacit,.
Media , flabbergasted…
Oh..that was the scavenger of the era,
Zia ul haq….

Started from the day was a long chronicle of anguishes,
Of woe,
The days, when the Hero of the Muslim World,
Where the Tiger of Asia,
Where the peoples loved Quaid e Awam was assassinated,
Where was impartiality then..??
Where was Zia ul Haq’s Islam then,
While taking lashes to his neck,
Did he hardly take his “Islamisation” into account?
Though, lies here an excruciating anecdote,
Still, brings up audacity to me,
For dictators are always chucked in gloomy light,
Not by me, by history,
Though, they endeavor to write narration themselves too,
But it never entails dictators’ folios or ink,
It engraves in the compassions and minds of the people,
Who can forget that lifeless lamb?
Who even feared from the carcass of Bhutto…
Who hardly had valor in eyes to see People’s admiration for him,
Or was not hallowed with ears, which could heed the world chanting,

ZINDA HAY BHUTTO, ZINDA HAI…!!!

Jeay Bhutto!
Regards,
Saria Bhutto Benazir.
