30th December, 2007 _The arrival of a new “Bhutto” in politics

When everything seemed to have changed, every life, which had taken a new turn after the events of December 2007, resulting in the assassination of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the world had become bleak. The vision of a democratic Pakistan appeared to have been masked under tones of sludge. The cries of partition had snatched peace from Pakistani locals and the foes of democracy started to consider this a great victory of them. Nevertheless, democracy has always faced serious challenges here and it is the Bhutto family that has been working for a democratic Pakistan under all the circumstances. When there laid too many hopes with Shaheed Bibi ,but a dark afternoon…that split of second snatched it all….The reality was still under wraps , rather every instant , the reports were changed and the government of the time _ to foolish enough to under that their claims had no legs to stand on. They were nothing……just a bunch of malarkey. Then to their utmost surprise, the voice of “PAKISTAN KHAPPAY”, after a wave of pledges to separate Sindh from Pakistan saved the nation from another December, 1971.

The world had left President Zardari and his children all helpless. Who was there to give them a shoulder to cry on, when his supporters were themselves in need of it..????? Again, the oppressors witnessed the courage of Bhutto, Whose legacy can never finish. With the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, the rumors crying that PPP had deteriorated came as another big issue to deal with. At the same spot, amidst those bewilderments, a new BHUTTO entered politics, under the same red, green and black flag…….Bilawal Bhutto Zardari , who was at the time only a 19 year old Bilawal Zardari , studying history & politics in Christ Church , Oxford entered a blood filled legacy by adding the name of Bhutto to his own _ thus making the same red history , his own identity and thereby the youngest ever Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party started his struggle to complete the same vision , for which his mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had laid down her life.
When courage, love, determination and passion all become the same, getting the creeps is something least bothering. In his very first press conference, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari repeated the words of his mother and thus, proved that Bhuttoism cannot be vanished from the very face of the globe. “My mother always used to say that democracy is the greatest revenge”. His words appeared to be the revival of the hope, the world had lost. He was elected as the CM of PPP by the unanimous support from all the provinces of Pakistan and thus , the Bhutto’s son saved Pakistan from drowning into that deep sea , from where , there’s no way to retreat. Thereby, he changed the destiny of a nation, which was moving towards absolute destruction.

In his talks, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari proved to be a true follower of the Bhutto legacy & the son of the great mother _ The Daughter of Destiny. Indeed, he is fated to be the future Prime Minister of Pakistan. Long Live PPP & Bhuttoism.

“This was not handed over to me like some piece of furniture. The party asked me to do it & I did”.

2 YEARS GONE, BUT STILL THE SAME HEARTACHE!!! _ Saria Benazir

The 27th afternoon of December, 2007 _ a catastrophic episode _ scarlet was the firmament _ crimson was the boulevard _ and a Bhutto’s blood……….vanished there the underlying anticipate of an autonomous Pakistan …………a calamity!!! O No!!!!!The horizon was roofed with red, green and black flags of democracy……Universe witnessed another Karbala in Pakistan.....war of right , against prejudice , totalitarianism and the tenets adjacent to the edicts of the Initiator. The daughter of a martyred father, the sister of martyred brothers _ Mohtarma Benazeer Bhutto amidst her cohorts _ thousands of her countrymen in the blood thirsty terrain of Pakistan _ elevated her voice for the people of her homeland, .It was in the same land, where laid the blood of her father Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who gave up his life in his struggle to make Pakistan one of the strongest nations of the world and this day , his daughter Benazeer Bhutto was standing to prolong with the same resist and shield this soil from falling into the clutches of the dictators_ her lexis , crammed with audacity and optimism _ a pledge of an innovative and affluent Pakistan….a crack of dawn after protracted years of melancholy and dusk. The world echoed with the sound of “Jeay Bhutto” _ the slogan of democrats.

Benazeer Bhutto _ who was looking as graceful that day as ever _ the hope on her face was as immense as ever _ the way, she spoke, as she knew that her land was begging her for blood & she had accepted that willingly_ the way she waved all _ as she was leaving them forever & stood surrounded by her people for the very last time……The world yearned for her, her supporters were eager to protect her at the cost of their own lives. The destiny was quite diverse………..As soon as the clock reached 5:52 am , the sky became as red as was it on the day of Karbala , the mountains were bending , as if they were paying homage to her _ the voice of the bullets ….a blast …..O GOD!!!What’s this???? “MY LORD!!! I BEG YOU!!!MY LEADER!!!MY LEADER!!!MY BENAZEER BHUTTO!!!O NO!!!NO!!!I CAN’T BELIEVE!!!I CAN’T!!!I’D NEVER!!!!!” cried me, as I heard that Benazeer Bhutto Shaheed had been assassinated……..my world, that laid with her, my every heart beat, that was associated with her had left the world , just in the split of a second! For a while, everything seemed to be wrapped in gloom and anxiety…My leader had left the world, but that was all, I could never accept. Her huge sea of supporters, the people of Pakistan, who had lost their last hope _Benazeer Bhutto, thought no other reason to survive. The Daughter of Destiny had added her blood to the huge sea of Bhutto’s blood filled legacy.

That Thursday _ those moments …. Too unforgettable!!!!SADA JEAY BHUTTO……..Bibi…who was waving her followers _ for those were her last flashes …last breaths….My eyes start glistening with tears, the instant, she laid down her life_ for Pakistan, fighting for the underprivileged, redundant, hunger stricken, cloth less and shelter less people of Pakistan….That day left indelible marks not only in the annals of Pakistan’s history, but in the narrations of the entire world. That night, when Pakistan had gone into night for ever…….and her funeral…that took away all the wishes, but NAY!!! That wasn’t just mere truth , but one of the greatest fact……She wasn’t buried under the mud , but under flower beds…..She wasn’t dead , but got an immortal life _ that life which is never to end…..She has become the undisputed voice of democracy , of the poor , of the down in the dumps _ anywhere in the world! Her democratic thrash about has become a role model for the entire world. She is indeed, a dazzling star on the horizon of the world of democracy.

The history of Pakistan Peoples Party and the Bhutto family is a long myth of struggle and sacrifices. Either it is the Rawalpindi Central Jail or the Liaqat Bagh, PPP has always stood first in struggle for a democratic system. Whatever the situations may be, wherever the world may go, the sacrifices of the Bhutto family would always be remembered. Those murders _ that blood may apparently seem to be a triumph for the dictators , but it is the martyrs for the sake of democracy , who are the real victors _ The Karbala takes place in every era , in every part of the world , where the high caliber is concealed & the malevolence reaches its climax , where the family of Ali laid down its life ……got their heads cut off as an alternative of bowing them in front of the will of the tyrant , and here in Pakistan , the Bhutto family gave their blood for strengthening their country….Adding their blood to the garden , which requires it to gain back the life of the flowers in it………The world has not forgotten , nature has not denied the very great monuments of December 27 , 2007 , when Benazeer Bhutto Shaheed gave her life , saving democracy. The words of Benazeer Bhutto have specified a new gist, added a new manifesto to the Bhutto bequest that “MARTYRDOM IS OUR DESTINATION”.

“Yai baazi Khoon ki baazi hay,
Yai baazi tum hi haro gay,
Har gar say Bhutto niklay gaa,
Tum kitnay Bhutto maro gay.”

LONG LIVE BENAZIRISM!!!!!

Those last moments……._ Saria Benazir

Blazes of fire,
And high peaks,
Oh my Lord!!! Deep seas,
And heavy showers of rain,
Dark black clouds,
And still red drops of blood,
Visible on the green land……!!!

The princess of fortune,
Dressed in her favorite colors,
Loaded with white & red flowers,
Looking as elegant as ever,
The universe had witnessed,
My Lord! This scene never……

The world all looked too strange,
The reason_ that was out of my domain,
I searched all about for that,
Despite huge crowds,
Great chanting sounds,
Shadowed a unique silence,
Damaging my innersole,
Gossiping with others,
That seemed something,
Rather too impossible………

Gosh! Was I or the world?
Too helpless, but too hopeless,
The waves stood still,
O!!! What’s all this??
The heaven seemed too near,
Much near the earth,
My Lord!!! What’s all, I’m seeing,
Are my eyes open,
Or still, that’s just my nightmare…….

This afternoon, I’m seeing,
A bloody…My God!!!
A strange color in the sky,
Seeming that the desolation,
Was all that seemed inevitable?
I thereby see Karbala,
And then look at the Liaqat Bagh,
There , I see Ali’s family,
And here, I see Bhutto’s generation,
There , the universe witnessed Zainab’s courage,
And here, the heavens glared at Benazeer’s chivalry,
For she fought too gallantly,
Too frantically for democracy!!!!

Ah!!! Benazir…….
Benazir !! the daughter of Indus,
The daughter of destiny…..
Ah! She’s Bhutto’s daughter,
Whom the world calls,
The emblem of democracy……
That afternoon….of December , 2007,
OH MY GOD!
That day was also near Muharram,
My Lord !! I really can’t get……
The tremendous sea of Bibi’s supporters,
Benazeer,…..
Who was absolutely ‘ Benazeer’,
In her enigmatic personality,
In her zealous courage,
It was this Benazir,
Whom in Karbala, I see speaking valiantly,
Her voice striking every heart,
For those trenches of dictators,
Even started to tremble hard,
I see Benazir there,
Waving her beloved ones,
As if that was the last moment , together,
O NO! O NO!! NO!! NO!!!!
Was she moving too far apart,
Then I see her amidst her supporters,
I see that hue on her face,
As if she’d completed her mission,
MY LORD!!
She’d decided to give up her life…
For completing & continuing her vision,
A few seconds later,
The voice of bullets took away my heart,
O !! I can’t believe,
SARIA!!! Never even think of that,
Still, I see the gigantic support,
For Bibi , who was now Bibi Shaheed,
My eyes started glistening with tears,
Fair enough,…….I hear back,
ZINDA HAI BIBI …. ZINDA HAI…
At the same spot,
The universe witnessed the deep,
The deep meaning in her words,
For she knew this day,
She herself was ready for that,
Because this barren land was in great need of that,
“Yai baazi Khoon ki baazi hay,
Yai baazi tum hi haro gay,
Har gar say Bhutto niklay gaa,
Tum kitnay Bhutto maro gay.”

Two years have gone,
But still my eyes,
Hit back the same Thursday,
Same afternoon of December 27, 2007,
The same Karbala in Liaqat Bagh,
The same flower bedded grave,
In the soil of Garhi Khuda Bux,
Still, my heart refuses to accept,
That Bibi isn’t with us….

NIX…….She is always with us,
Always guiding us.,
And leading us,
For that’s true that,
“Martyrs never die”.
& Bibi Shaheed still rules the world,
From her grave.
“Zinda Hai Bibi , Zinda Hai”.

Enclosed in my heart…………._ Saria Benazir

Enclosed in my heart,
Are a few words?
Not merely words,
Some true,
Not merely true,
But accepted facts,
I try to unwrap that,
But those words,
Do never hold up the thoughts,
As do the words for that,
Exist not at all,
I explore them all around,
I look for that beloved one all about,
In thick woods,
In lofty mountains,
In deep seas,
In far reaching skies,
I glance at a way,
AW………!!!!
A way in the canopy,
The canopy of heavens,
The way, I saw,
Leading to high doors,
The door of paradise,
I still kept on looking,
My eyes catch sight…………….
Of all, I’d never imagined,
Never ever had thought to see,
Or witness the view of that beloved one,
After a dark Thursday afternoon,
Gosh!!! Was it a marvel…..???
Or was it my reverie,
Being irresolute, I retreated,
But that was all temporary,
O! NO! Heaven wanted me know that,
Ah!!! That was a blessing,
Someone was holding me,
Stopping me from moving further,
Into more anxiety or depression,
For all that wanted,
That wasn’t aggravation,
I turned back,
I heard a voice,
Full of bliss, rather optimism,
Aw!!! Still, I believe,
It’s not that envious,
Is it……???
“Saria….I am alive”.
My legacy is still,
Whatever you have to pursue,
My vision is what,
That has become your mission,
My dreams are what,
Today stand your aims,
Scrutinize the eyes of Aseefa,
Aw!!Contemplate over the words of Bakhtawar,
Have a view over the traits of Bilawal,
Once for a while,
Heaven gave me a great pleasure,
Too pleasurable to ignore,
“In the voice of my countrymen,
I’m still alive”.
“My beloved sons & daughters,
The hope of democracy,
The future of your country,
You’d have to……..,
Carry my bequest
Accomplish my apparition,
And never let my blood,
The blood of a martyr go desecrate….”

Thereby, shouted me,
My beloved leader is still alive…
Aw!!! She is still the ruler of hearts & minds.

dedicated to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her second death anniversary.
ZINDA HAI BIBI , ZINDA HAI.

Is it justice with the Iron Lady of Pakistan …………………?????_ Saria Benazir

The years subsequent the underpinning of Pakistan _ a feudal dominated political system or the very foundation of it was laid on a feeble federation……..rather an utterly failure. Still, many problems remained ……the real dilemma was that of a scrawny administration…..fraudulent ruling class and their pro _dictator hallucination. Castles are built on ground , not in the air , the situate where there was not even a gloominess of democracy in any hike of life………where there was no voice of the poor, no opportunities for the unemployed , no courts for the depressed , no provision for the itinerant, no food for the starving and was still a democratic state……Changing of the Prime Minister became the inclination , following every season……One after the other , the duty of looting public wealth and wishes was carried on _ if not one ; the other,…The real objectives remained the same. Division of powers still remained an ambiguity and sovereignty for the provinces _ that was regarded, but totally unfeasible …..Where for years, the division of chattels of the old British India remained a vital issue, but not the welfare of the people….what a bitter disgrace that they, who saw the dreams of invading Kashmir and giving rights to those people _ the right of living independently couldn’t provide the same right to the people of their own state..................

Relations with India had reached a low ebb after the War of 1948 and that of 1965 , but the administration least bothered , for who were they to care for the commons of the state , leaving their own deep sleeps at night…….Then another great movement was carried out by the worthy General Ayub Khan _ Martial Law was declared , the constitution poised and the PRESIDENTIAL form of government imposed …………….88% of the assets of Pakistan remained with 21 families of Pakistan as a result of the “Green Revolution” brought by him and all those families belonged to the West Pakistan….The so called saviors of Pakistan themselves laid down their arms , instead of fighting against India in the war of 1971 and finally , they added bright colors to their dream of seeing East Pakistan a separate state. The world witnessed a revolution…..the revolution that was in confrontation with those existing customs and a party, aiming to revive democracy in the state was founded and the people of Pakistan gathered under the banner of Pakistan Peoples Party with the manifesto “Islam is our religion, democracy is our policy, socialism is our economy and all power to the people.”
The world was hopeless, but PPP gave it hope and brought the 90,000 prisoners of war back to the country and followed on to eradicate corruption from the society and re organizing the army, working to facilitate the laborers and students, and carrying out its promise of providing Bread, clothing & shelter to the people, but the remuneration which was given to them_ just blood and dark prison cells. The history witnessed another magnificent hero in the form of General Zia ul Haq , who killed democracy , but even after that , left no chance spare to vanish PPP……….The world might not have forgotten the living martyr Begum Nusrat Bhutto Isphahani , whose husband and then her both sons were murdered by the dictators………………..then the roads of Pakistan are the witnesses of those rallies and thereby Nusrat Bhutto facing constant physical and mental tortures ……..the prison became her dwelling and house arrest….that was something that became a part of her life _ the woman of power who faced every hardship standing alone with a handful of supporters, who besides a great politician was even more a great woman and mother….she is that lady , who after losing her husband lost her two young sons….how could she bear that???Was that in anyway less than a hell on earth….???? She is that woman, who faced courts first in Zia’s era and then during the government of Nawaz Sharif but didn’t leave hope & courage….Aw!!!! The words don’t subsist ever to pay tribute to the chivalry of that iron lady of Pakistan, who after becoming the victim of Alzheimer’s disease even lost her beloved “PINKY” but still is naive that she now resides under the soil of Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto…………………but the judiciary of Pakistan is too blind to see her struggle and sacrifices. Pity on them and their NRO, who are unable to know the realities _ all they know, is just to fritter away the name of Bhutto and PPP , which they can never accomplish.
“JEAY BHUTTO, SADA JEAY”.

Saria.

IF THERE WERE WORDS TO EXPLAIN THE MEANING OF BLOOD AND STRUGGLE?? _ Saria Benazir

DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN _ Oh!! Stop day dreaming! Well, the obsession continues and the argument takes a new turn……Is it all a fairy tale??? But don’t bother about it. Democracy _ a simple utterance, but an enormous connotation, if nowhere else in the world, but is something of grave concern in the Islamic Democratic Republic of Pakistan. Today, our young generation solicits “Why are we amongst the so less developed inhabitants of the world?” “Was our country founded on Islamic ideology, where people have a voice in the affairs of the state, where there is equality & peace _ not bloodshed? Or was our country’s ideology “MIGHT IS MAIN”.O!!!! What is the counter or who is liable to account for the murder of our youth’s yearning to live as the owners of the state they belong to and get equal opportunities regardless of their caste, religion or political affiliations. Obviously, that’s no more behind the curtains……In a slip of tongue or in ink of pen; you can stumble on the retort to all your queries.

Rolling back the folios of our times gone by, you’d rather be traumatized to know that this democracy has been “THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT” for this nation. I wonder why??? What might be the reason for that? Further research on the topic opened up a list of factors too hard to ignore , that our extremism , inability to search for the facts , usability to family politics and leaders and the habit to live under suppression and the elite class….too selfish..O!! No….too coward to see someone in comparison to them and for them , their law states that poor are to be kept aside like a rubbish basket……..without any voice of their own and politics…..that resides in the furnished big drawing rooms , not in cottages. Whose fault is it???? No one is there to admit his own mistake.
Revolutions too are not a part of day after day existence, but once occur in centuries. Our nation, I’m too remorseful rather forlorn to say that we got the pearls of the world, but oblivious of their significance or worth, we mislaid them. The world might not have elapsed those sinister penitentiary cells and that 4th of April, when a revolutionary was hanged, just because of becoming the voice of democracy lovers, redundant, ravenous cloth less and shelter less people _ The gigantic remuneration to his starting the Nuclear Power Project to save this country was just prison _ a death statement and that also, without any attestation…..the greatest conspiracy of the era….The judges who were given price of their lie…their erroneous statements and their unfair verdict _ That was not unfair , but truly free and fair in that dictionary and those big books of law……..That was a real blessing on me that I came to know the meaning of justice in this establishment supervised society.
‘To live one day like a lion is better than to live hundred years like a jackal’ , but according to the grapevine , there’s no shortage of jackals and dogs in Pakistan….Once given a bone in mouth , they will prove to be a bone of contention in every matter concerned with their majesty’s order….OH !! HOW FAITHFUL?? MY GOD! TOO SINCERE! and further more , too devoted for their cause that they didn’t even spare the Daughter of Destiny _ The Daughter of that martyred revolutionary…..Who can interfere in God’s planning and strategy?? Added to their envy , their pig’s eye _ how could they see Pakistan , once again on the road to success and development…….for Benazir Bhutto _ the daughter of Quaid e Awaam , was the Prime Minister of a country called Pakistan _of a male dominated society. Every instance of suppressing her efforts,….. calling her an Indian or an Israeli bore no fruit…rather a greater disgrace to them…but again , the already sold courts of Pakistan , the judges who don’t know even a single word of English , but only ‘corruption’ used this valuable word to cease people’s power and rule. Asif Ali Zardari _ who had no other fault ,but joining ties with a blood filled legacy was continuously moved from one prison to another _ one court to the other and Benazir Bhutto alone had to struggle to prove them wrong. Years followed on , no case could be proved , neither Pakistani Government could do that or their mighty Swiss Government…….This time , they couldn’t use a court , thereby, used bullets to put an end to the voice of the students, poor, unemployed ,labors , poverty and hunger stricken people….The last words , the last moments were a memorable of a magnificent Pakistan , these powers snatched from us.
God is not that unfair , like people. Once again , democracy flourished under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and attempts are being made to vanish it too, sometimes using the Sindhi Cap as a matter of concern or looking into years back files of unproved cases……or adding the names of PPP leaders in the list of NRO beneficiaries to harm the federation & democracy. But let these people be known _ these efforts are not going to play that vital part in achieving their ends..They should better remove the wool from their eyes before any surgery or rather consult any optician , if they are really facing any other problem accept PPP’s Government _ an emblem of people’s power.PPP is the symbol of federation. It has faced all courts in the past too & is ready to give any sacrifice for the sake of a democratic Pakistan.Let the world come out of their dreams to finish PPP because it has come to exist forever.

Yai baazi khoon ki baazi hay,
Yai baazi tum hi haro gay,
Har gar say Bhutto niklay gaa,
Tum kitnay Bhutto maro gay.

A HOPE......................_ Saria Benazir

I remember and look two years back i.e the days following Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto's return to Pakistan in 2007.Those days;the golden days were where all I found was hope. For eight years, the disappointments, which had become a part of every Pakistani's life banished,as it was a miracle or by some magic spell. How can one,not only a Pakistani, but how can every civilized or distressed,a victim of cruelties, anywhere in the world forget the sun of the 18th of October,2007,which brought a new hope for the hunger stricken, cloth less, shelter less ,poor, unemployed and the depressed people of a nation _of a country, whose foundation was laid on the principles of Islam, which supports democracy & opposes every sort of dictatorship;but ever in its history, democracy wasn't given a chance to flourish or survive and those, who fought for democracy were made the worst examples for the future generations, whose future seemed to be wrapped in the dark curtains of dictator rule, that rule, where despite being a free citizen of a state, you aren't free_not free to chose your own leaders or to speak what's right or to demand for anything that you absolutely possess the right over.As John Foster Dulles writes "Dictatorship usually presents a formidable exterior. They seem,on the outside to be hard, glittering and irresistible.Within, they are full of rottness".No civilized nation, ever in the world speaks good of dictatorship, that has been snatching the world's hroes from it.Winston Churchill similarly wrote "Dictatorship_a fetish worship of one man_is a passing phase,a state of society, where men may not speak their mindsmwhere children denounce their parents to the police...............such a society cannot long endure".
But on the day of 18th October, everything sounded different.Every attempt, physical or verbal couldn't stop the arrival of hope; the arrival of the revival of hope and democracy,my beloved leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto!Everywhere was a view of celebration.Every heart was filled with joy & hope, each and every eye was waiting to catch Benazir Bhutto's glare..Each and every ear was restless to hear her hope filled words.....words of the Daughter of the Indus..!That hope was not only for some selected members of the society, rather,Bibi's arrival brought hope for all.It brought hope to the poor.Ever since in history, one might not see a leader like her, whose affiliation with the poor of the society was like that of parents, brothers, sisters and children. How did she use to hug even a lay man and greet them with love & respect.....Golly!!Then such a person is really worthy of praise and peoples' prayers...!!I saw the hope..!It was the hope, which removed the wool of disappointments, surrounding every Pakistan's life.Everywhere was there a hope of revolution, every blow of wind, every song of nightingale spoke out "BENAZIR WILL COME: REVOLUTION WILL COME.I saw huge crowds, greeting Benazir Bhutto, wherever she went. Her followers and her supporters, who saw her after eight years..their condition was like had they gained a new life! What was the joy..???and hope,,..???Pakistan's soil hoped for her progress and prosperity,Every person hoped for his betterment.Every mother hoped for her child's bright future,.Had it all been a miracle, following my leader's return to Pakistan.
Her promise of BREAD, CLOTHING AND SHELTER,her promise of bringing back the Government of the people, her promise of setting new schemes for education & health, her promise of employments, her promise of development in the power sector...What was it all???Indeed,a hope! Then history also saw one of its blackest days on the 3rd of November,2007, when a dictator, misusing his power imposed a state of emergency in Pakistan and my beloved leader Benazir Bhutto was placed under house arrest, but her bravery & courage; to get out of her dwelling during the respective time to address her people is certainly exampleless_ a new hope that despite every placed hurdle in the way; despite every thorn lying there,Benazir Bhutto will lead Pakistan to the destination. Those were the golden days, indeed in the history of Pakistan,as Benazeer Bhutto's return brought that hope, that spirit, which had never been witnessed before. As in the words of Benazir Bhutto : "Time comes ; time goes...We decide what to do with time".Although,it's a fact that we are facing a great crisis in Pakistan and have to eradicate terrorism & extremism....We are passing through a really difficult phase of Pakistan's history because of the wrong policies of dictators. In the words of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto:
"My dear countrymen,my dear friends,my dear students,labourers,peasants...those who fought for Pakistan.......We are facing the worst crisis in our country's life; a deadly crisis. We have to pick up the pieces, very small pieces, but we will make a new Pakistan _ a prosperous & progressive Pakistan".
Today also, hope isn't lost and InshAllah,Pakistan, under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari will soon get out of this crisis...But all we need is the same hope, that was brought by Bibi Shaheed's arrival, two years back.

IS CORRUPTION THE REAL ISSUE OR A DEMOCRACTIC GOVERNMENT???_ Saria Benazir

To a number of eyes, awaiting the decision of the Chief Justice concerned with the NRO might have brought an image of an end to corruption or a step for its eradication but is that really factual….??? In essence, is that an attempt to overthrow corruption or a democratic government??? It is nothing to be surprised of that this is not something new in Pakistan….The history has been rather miraculous too. In the past too, elected governments were overpowered by the so _ called “FAIR PLAYS” of the dictators and to further strengthen their cause and add more colors to it, the courts of Pakistan didn’t chose to stay behind , rather , they became the “HOUSE OF CONSPIRACY” and because of that injustice, we witnessed one of the darkest days of our history i.e. the 4th of April , 1979 , when Pakistan’s first elected Prime Minister & the founder of Pakistan Peoples Party Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged in Central Jail , Rawalpindi and the so- called justice gave statements of his death , without having adequate proof of his being guilty.

It’s well said that history repeats itself. The following generations of the same “Supreme Court” and the military dictator General Zia ul Haq carried out their mission and tried with their might and main, not to spare any moment to harm the federation of Pakistan. That was just not a mere attempt to harm democracy, but PPP was always targeted _ the reason, we also talk of democracy, our opponents too, but Pakistan Peoples Party has been talking of empowering the poor population of Pakistan, to provide ‘BREAD , CLOTHING and SHELTER’ to the people…..to protect the federation and give sovereignty to the provinces _ this makes the difference,. To pave the way for dictatorship, the judiciary of Pakistan always played an inevitable role. It was no less than Zia ul Haq, Ishaq Khan or Farooq Laghari. In finishing both the governments of PPP,
The judiciary played a lamentable part. This is certainly a marathon of conspiracies against democracy. The history cited that and strongly condemned it and after years, again, there has been an attempt to destabilize the government of PPP _ the symbol of Pakistan’s sovereignty and federation. The cases filed under NRO were those , which had never been proved for years and now, the Supreme Court has gone nuts again for them….Is it again a Fair Play ???
President Zardari _ who gave commendable sacrifices for the sake of democracy , whether the gadget of Mr 10 % was used against him or of NAB’s fake corruption cases…..those long months in prison _ from one court to another….Didn’t Pakistan Peoples Party face that??? Didn’t President Zardari bear all the persecutions patiently ??? Didn’t he??? I ask the Chief Justice , Can’t he see the corruption of PMLN and Shareef brothers..Of former Prime Minister Shaukat Azeez and the greatest of all our honorable Ex President Pervez Musharaf??? Is this court of Pakistan blind to see the murders done in front of them or openly on the roads of Pakistan?? Can’t they see, but that’s much more horrible to realize that here , the courts belong to the establishment and dictators, there is no place or justice for democracy in them and the Chief Justice’s decision about the NRO cases and about President Zardari has further removed all doubts of their pro dictator ambitions.Thankyou Chief Justice!!! You proved that….!
Indeed , the world might lose hope, but there lies a hope of a new morning.....again , the sun's golden rays will enlighten the day and will come there a revolution _ not to let the blood of our leaders or our President and party's struggle & sacrifices go waste.
LONG LIVE BHUTTOISM.
LONG LIVE PPP.
PAKISTAN KHAPPAY.
