Is it justice with the Iron Lady of Pakistan …………………?????_ Saria Benazir

The years subsequent the underpinning of Pakistan _ a feudal dominated political system or the very foundation of it was laid on a feeble federation……..rather an utterly failure. Still, many problems remained ……the real dilemma was that of a scrawny administration…..fraudulent ruling class and their pro _dictator hallucination. Castles are built on ground , not in the air , the situate where there was not even a gloominess of democracy in any hike of life………where there was no voice of the poor, no opportunities for the unemployed , no courts for the depressed , no provision for the itinerant, no food for the starving and was still a democratic state……Changing of the Prime Minister became the inclination , following every season……One after the other , the duty of looting public wealth and wishes was carried on _ if not one ; the other,…The real objectives remained the same. Division of powers still remained an ambiguity and sovereignty for the provinces _ that was regarded, but totally unfeasible …..Where for years, the division of chattels of the old British India remained a vital issue, but not the welfare of the people….what a bitter disgrace that they, who saw the dreams of invading Kashmir and giving rights to those people _ the right of living independently couldn’t provide the same right to the people of their own state..................

Relations with India had reached a low ebb after the War of 1948 and that of 1965 , but the administration least bothered , for who were they to care for the commons of the state , leaving their own deep sleeps at night…….Then another great movement was carried out by the worthy General Ayub Khan _ Martial Law was declared , the constitution poised and the PRESIDENTIAL form of government imposed …………….88% of the assets of Pakistan remained with 21 families of Pakistan as a result of the “Green Revolution” brought by him and all those families belonged to the West Pakistan….The so called saviors of Pakistan themselves laid down their arms , instead of fighting against India in the war of 1971 and finally , they added bright colors to their dream of seeing East Pakistan a separate state. The world witnessed a revolution…..the revolution that was in confrontation with those existing customs and a party, aiming to revive democracy in the state was founded and the people of Pakistan gathered under the banner of Pakistan Peoples Party with the manifesto “Islam is our religion, democracy is our policy, socialism is our economy and all power to the people.”
The world was hopeless, but PPP gave it hope and brought the 90,000 prisoners of war back to the country and followed on to eradicate corruption from the society and re organizing the army, working to facilitate the laborers and students, and carrying out its promise of providing Bread, clothing & shelter to the people, but the remuneration which was given to them_ just blood and dark prison cells. The history witnessed another magnificent hero in the form of General Zia ul Haq , who killed democracy , but even after that , left no chance spare to vanish PPP……….The world might not have forgotten the living martyr Begum Nusrat Bhutto Isphahani , whose husband and then her both sons were murdered by the dictators………………..then the roads of Pakistan are the witnesses of those rallies and thereby Nusrat Bhutto facing constant physical and mental tortures ……..the prison became her dwelling and house arrest….that was something that became a part of her life _ the woman of power who faced every hardship standing alone with a handful of supporters, who besides a great politician was even more a great woman and mother….she is that lady , who after losing her husband lost her two young sons….how could she bear that???Was that in anyway less than a hell on earth….???? She is that woman, who faced courts first in Zia’s era and then during the government of Nawaz Sharif but didn’t leave hope & courage….Aw!!!! The words don’t subsist ever to pay tribute to the chivalry of that iron lady of Pakistan, who after becoming the victim of Alzheimer’s disease even lost her beloved “PINKY” but still is naive that she now resides under the soil of Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto…………………but the judiciary of Pakistan is too blind to see her struggle and sacrifices. Pity on them and their NRO, who are unable to know the realities _ all they know, is just to fritter away the name of Bhutto and PPP , which they can never accomplish.
“JEAY BHUTTO, SADA JEAY”.
Regards,
Saria.
